India Solomon is an abstract visual artist and lifestyle designer raised on the city’s Westside. India paints as a means of wayfinding, releasing, and channeling a more grounded version of the present. Half-finished paint tins were a staple in her mother’s DIY household, and Saturdays at Grandma’s house were spent gluing rhinestones and manifesting high-fashion out of JoAnn’s fabric scraps. Beyond and through her artwork, India works to create connections, communities, and collaborations that nurture talent, shift definitions of value, and help people thrive.
